Operation
Monitor operational support of computer systems.
Monitor system usage, print reports, maintain
audits, monitor software applications training,
establish user accounts, maintain library of
software and documentation and associated inventory
reports, optically scan deliverables and other
documents as required, receive, distribute, tag and
maintain inventory reports of hardware.
Technical Services Support
Provide technical services to support
program-specific feedback and monitoring tools, such
as work breakdown structures, Gantt charts and other
appropriate graphics, and plan-to-actual matrices.
We review, analyze and provide inputs to technical
program documentation including operational resource
reports, test plans and schedules, integrated
logistic plans, work breakdown structures,
requirements determinations, and level of repair
analyses.
APRO compiles and integrates technical program
requirements, track status of acquisitions, and
provide periodic feedback and exception reports.
Develop technical program assessments of continuing
engineering and production developments, including
adequacy of current and prospective requirements.
Develop inputs to and evaluations for 1-year Plan of
Action and Milestones and 5-year long range
planning. Consider cost savings advantages for
combining similar requirements to meet program
objectives. Conduct program and technical studies to
provide feedback on ongoing projects.
Requirements Definition
Document user needs, including timing of
development, data types and processing needs,
communication requirements, interoperability
requirements, report format, level of
user-friendliness, response time, off-the-shelf
software requirements, security requirements, and
system constraints for feedback to engineering.
Provide documentation of software and hardware
requirements for the system. Provide life-cycle
documentation support as required.
Development. System Development Plan
Insure development of design descriptions for the
system or subsystem as well as for individual
software/hardware, interface, and database
components and submit to the Government for
approval. Once all approvals have been received,
insure system development in accordance with the
approved design. Insure models, simulation, and/or
prototype programs shall be designed for government
assessment before formal system testing. Provide
documentation in accordance with applicable
standards and monitor delivery of the product in
accordance with said standards
Life Cycle Support.
Support routine processing, database, file, and
network systems, including report generation, data
entry, and operations support. Provide feedback on
system operations, efficiency, and suggest
improvements in Contractor’s Progress, Status and
Management Report.
Routine Maintenance
Provide support for coordinating routine maintenance
services as required including vendor-specific
software and hardware maintenance support and
installation of upgrade programs and functions
required at the ERDC MSRC. All efforts will be
documented in the Contractor’s Progress, Status and
Management Report. Conduct software/hardware system
quality assurance services to insure development and
delivery of reliable products that meet mission
requirements.
Acquisition Support
Support acquisition requirements for facility
outfitting and related materials, including tracking
procurement status. Market surveys shall identify
and define the product\'s salient technical and
physical features, possible operational
applications, estimated implementation costs,
similar products and/or alternative approaches.
Technical Managerial Support
Provide engineering and technical management support
for various organizations within the ERDC MSRC
Communities. Identify resource requirements and
recommended solutions, including plans, cost
estimates, and schedules. Provide technical and
engineering studies and evaluations. Identify tools
to meet customer requirements, and develop related
cost analyses and provide recommended solutions.
Logistics Support
Provide logistic support as needed for various
programs, specifically, maintenance initiatives,
periodic conferences and providing appropriate
recommendations for consideration.
Technical Data Review
Provide feedback for technical documentation
including, but not limited to, material inventory
progress/status reports to sponsors, and briefing
materials. Provide feedback for independent
financial tracking of project status, and
participate in program conferences, program status
reviews and meetings. Review technical data
delivered under vendor contracts. Provide feedback,
including a list of deficiencies to designated
Government personnel.
Configuration Control
Monitor configuration control for designated
systems. Provide technical expertise, feedback, and
documentation in support of configuration change
requests.
Technical Program Management Support
Provide technical support to managers and engineers
for meetings and conferences; monitor and report on
project status, critical milestones, key deadlines,
project slippage, action items, and problem areas
with status, accomplishments, deliveries, and
lessons learned. Program status in support of
reviews shall include financial, schedule and
technical status, special presentations relating to
acquisition, logistic support, test and evaluation,
and technologies and methods to include management
methods, automated program management tasks,
alternative financial or schedule recommendations,
and special program events
